SURROUNDINGS - ELIZABETH

Elizabeth was filmed in the Majestic Theatre located in Fremantle, Western Australia. The cinema was in use from 1916 – 1938. Despite having the interior stripped out there were still admission tickets littered on the floor from when the cinema was operational. This rich and historical setting inspired the narrative’s ghost love story.
